Africa will test you. Wise words from our friend and guide David, a week or so before Catherine and I started our adventure to Tanzania: jewel of East Africa, host to Hemingway, home of the Great Migration, and cradle of humanity. Tanzania is all of these and more. Did it test us? Yes. Did it change us? Undoubtedly. Are we glad we did it? Well, duh!

Just Another Zebra... is the story of our journey halfway around the world - the things we saw, the things we learned, and the things we did. We wanted to blog on the fly, but limited access to the Internet made that impossible, so this story is more an extended postscript or coda than a real-time exposition of each day's events. We invite you to follow along now as we record our memories of the trip of a lifetime. Karibu! (that's Swahili for Welcome!) P.S.
